2024 Yearly Departmental Retreat at Gault Nature Reserve

This event brings together biology graduate students from all sub-disciplines within the department -molecular biology, neuroscience, and ecology and evolution - for a weekend-long visit to the Gault Nature Reserve. The retreat provides an opportunity for graduate students to share their research, learn about others' research, and gain new skills, all while strengthening connections within the graduate community. The retreat agenda will include workshops, research speed-talks, and other cohort-strengthening activities. Professors from the Department are welcome to join to take part in the day time activities. All-in-all this event is one of the most important ones held by the BGSA, as it strengthens bonds between new and returning graduate students from across the department. Please check back soon for updates!
